• DIWALI DECORATION FOR HOME & MAIN DOOR: 6 strings of fluffy yellow and orange marigold pom poms with woollen rings and a decorative bell at the end of each string, every string 38 inches long and about 260 g for the set. These marigold torans for Diwali use plastic flowers on woollen work, so the colour that goes up on Dhanteras is still the same colour on Bhai Dooj. It arrives finished, with nothing to tie or assemble, and every piece is painted by hand so the shade shifts string to string.
• MARIGOLD GARLANDS DECORATION, LATKAN & TORAN FOR MAIN DOOR: Each string has its own loop, so the main door is dressed in under five minutes – no nails, no wire, no tying. Hang these artificial garlands for decoration across a doorway, as a genda phool mala over the frame, as a flower string or ladi along a balcony grill, or knot two together for a longer backdrop. Artificial genda does not wilt by the second day the way fresh strings do, and it leaves no petals on the pooja room floor.
• FLOWERS FOR DECORATIONS BACKDROP – WALL HANGING DECORATION FOR NAVRATRI, GOLU & POOJA MANDIR: All 6 strings go up for Navratri from 11 October, Dussehra on 20 October, Karwa Chauth on 29 October, Dhanteras on 6 November and Diwali on 8 November. At 38 inches each they reach behind the golu steps, across the mandir or temple arch, on a wall beside the shubh labh, around the Lakshmi pujan chowki and on either side of the main door. • HANDMADE IN MERTA CITY, RAJASTHAN BY JH GALLERY ARTISANS: Each of the 6 strings, 38 inches long, is strung flower by flower and knotted at both ends in our own karigar workshop, not bought in and relabelled. Small differences in shade, finish and placement between pieces are normal and are the mark of genuine handwork. Care: shake off dust or wipe with a dry cloth, do not wash or soak, and store it loosely coiled so the strings do not tangle.
